Soft Appealing Illustrations

I love to browse through Etsy in search of fun homemade items. This time, I stumbled upon an artist named Kristiana Pärn who born in Estonia in 1979, moved to New York City to study illustration at the School of Visual Arts and now lives and works in Prospect Heights. Her shop is Krisblues and she offers prints from an original acrylic illustration measuring 6.5"x6.5" with a white frame border.
What lured me to her prints was the feeling of calm, soft and sweetness all in one. The colors were visually appealing and you could easily put together a series framed on a wall for a child's room. One of my favorites is the Napping Under a Marshmallow Tree which just makes you want to crawl in bed and cuddle up next to the bunny. Kristiana also gives details about the original paintings how they made.

Each is printed on enhanced matte paper with archival inks, dated, signed and shipped with care in a bend-proof cardboard mailer.
WIN IT!!!

How exquisite!!! Thanks for sharing this wonderful discovery. I lover her Follow Your Dreams series. Can't decide which of that set is my fave, guess I'll have to if I win, or buy the others, hmmm?

I posted about the giveaway on my blog. The series is called Follow Your Heart. I think I incorrectly called it Dreams on my previous comment.

I love, love the Red Poppies and Good Evening prints because of their modern appeal and colors. They would look great in my daughter's room, our bedroom or the living room. The hard decision would be where to put it! So pretty! m_huston(at)hotmail(dot)com

I love the Follow Your Heart - On top of a Tree. It just seems to speak to me at this moment in my life. It captures what I am feeling as I contemplate the path I should follow.

I love the Somersaults on Small Egg Hill. I really like polar bears and it will be sad if we cannot save them.

I love her work so much, it speaks to my heart and the little girl inside of me.

I think Follow Your Heart-Swinging Quietly and Where Are You Fox? Are my favorite.

Her animals look so lonely :(

Her work is so beautiful! I love the colors she uses and also the sweet imagery. I would love to win one, but it's a hard decision. I'd go with the knitting birds (since I'm a knitter) or the Blueberries for Breakfast. Thanks so much for the contest!
