Making ice cubes seems to be a very dull ritual. If you have seen my freezer and how small it is, you know it is even more of a challenge for me. Of course, nowadays, fridges come with an ice maker, spitting on from the freezer door half moon shaped or crushed ice.
Fun and educational making ice? Yes you can! I love the silicone Letter and Number Ice Trays found at The Spoon Sisters store. They are flexible, colorful molds that are perfect for making ice, frozen yogurt or jello! The trays are oven safe and freezer safe that do not retain odors or flavors. And yes, you can stick them in the dishwasher!
My daughter loves lemonade and I usually water it down. Instead I used the molds to freeze the lemonade and popped them into a glass of water! Fun to look at and a little added flavor.

My favorite (because I host alot of parties and gatherings) are the beer bands.
Hi! I came over from MBC. I love your site! My favorite product from the spoon sisters is the I Don't Want To Go to Bed book. I have a three year old that still refuses to sleep without me!
Ever the lover of all things green, I am in love with the Market Tote with Bottle Pockets, which would make grocery shopping trips more organized for me. A close second is the "1,001 Ways to Save the Earth" book. Email: jennae@greenyourdecor.com
Their selection is just too good! Love the Q-Man Luggage ID Tag - so distinctive and would certainly set luggage apart on a carousel.
And I've blogged it here. Tuesday's Treasures (15 July 08)

My little guy would love the constructive eating utensils. And the soapsicles look good enough to eat!
I can't pick one. But I did narrow it down to a short list. Sort of. LOL!
The Irish Family Map dish towel - We actually know the area, but this would be cool to have!
Constructive Eating Utensils Set - my son is obsessed with all things vehicles and would love this... and anything else that resembled a vehicle, including the pancake molds.
The Days Ago timers - saw these on Oprah awhile back - very cool idea! Just yesterday I was wondering how long ago I had opened something!
The designer dish gloves and pink nesting bowls... love it!
OK, I'll stop there (and this is only from the kitchen section!! haha!).
Great site & great giveaway!

I love the heart and daisy pancake molds. My 5 year old with no sweet tooth recently realized that pancakes with butter and brown sugar are awesome. She wakes up, comes downstairs and gets the Bisquik box out. Her 3 yer old sister sometimes beats her to the punch. It's great diet material because I make pancakes and waffles so much now that I don't crave them!
love your new look :)
my son and husband would love the
Why a Curveball Curves - The Incredible Science of Sports!
thanks!

I'm gonna have to go with the pencils with Swarovski crystals just because they're so frivolous and girlie.

What a fun contest. The ice cubes trays are adorable. I really like the "Leaf Swing" on their site! It could be hung on a limb under a shady tree. Children could swing forever! Please enter me in your drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

With babies on the mind, I have to say the "On Duty, Off Duty (New Parent) Pillowcases" are the funniest things I've seen in awhile. We could really use the "Control A Kid Remote Control" to help out with our toddler too.
I can't believe how much time I just spent at Spoon Sisters looking around. What a fun and interesting collection of products. My favorite item is the Nap Sac Travel Blanket and Pillow because we travel by car a lot and I'm always colder than my husband so this would be wonderful for covering all of me, not just part of me like a sweater or jacket can do. Also, it's self-contained and that makes the portability wonderful!
